The cast and crew of the PBS program This Old House had the opportunity to stay at The Margin Street Inn for one or two nights at a time over the course of 8 months of filming at our Westerly, RI project. “After the amazing experience we had there, no other hotel will ever be able to compare. From the beautifully decorated rooms, the comfortable beds, and the delicious and hearty breakfasts (especially needed for the hardworking crew members), we were all completely impressed. Sarah and Chris Cooper are amazing hosts. They made sure every need was accommodated – from parking our truck and trailer to having an extra early breakfast ready for the crew – and giving excellent suggestions for local places to visit. They’re good, fun people and made us feel at home every time we visited. They even helped us host a small cocktail party in the house. Our cast and crew travel often, so having such a pleasant, quiet, and beautifully restored old house to stay at the end of a long shoot day was such a treat. We highly recommend staying at The Margin Street Inn if you’re ever in the Westerly/Watch Hill area.”
