The Inn
The Margin Street Inn was built in 1849 on the banks of the Pawcatuck River in Westerly, Rhode Island. It was the first of five houses built that made up the historic Perry Homestead, a residential grouping of great distinction to the town of Westerly, Rhode Island.
Today, The Inn has two beautifully renovated Colonial and Classic Revival style guest houses, The Main House and Beech House, offering ten well-appointed bedrooms all with private baths and luxury amenities.
Our Bed & Breakfast strives to provide guests a low key, casual elegance in which every need is taken care of. A European fare breakfast of fresh baked goods, local frittatas, homemade granola and fresh fruit is provided daily along with snacks and drinks on the sun porch in the evening.
Surrounded by over 6 acres of manicured grounds with magnificent specimen trees, 4 out barns. and two docks to come by boat or to fish and explore the river, The Margin Street Inn is the perfect setting for weddings and private events or to simply get away.
Main House

Behind the Reception Area, a sweeping staircase with a palladian window on the landing leads to the guest rooms.

The Dining Room’s bold floral wallpaper, fireplace and chandelier provide a gorgeous setting for private dinner,s showers or Mother’s day Brunch.
A European Fare Breakfast with croissants, local frittatas, homemade granola and fresh fruits is served daily in the Dining Room.

Beech House
The “apple painting” is actually a HD, smart TV. With a click of a remote control, The Living Room becomes The Entertainment Room—or Conference Room to use for presentations during a business event.
A delightful handcrafted backgammon set made by a local artist sits on a glasstop wicker table with chairs.
Whimsical botanical illustrations hang next to a built-in hutch and under an antique chandelier in the family style Dining Room.
The Sun Porch off The Living Room has river views— lounge or use the computer and printer desk to browse the internet or use as a mobile office.
