In The Main House for all guests
Delicious freshly prepared continental breakfast daily including a selection of frittatas, baked goods, fresh fruit, granola and yogurt. Fresh coffee, teas and juices.
Light snacks and complimentary refreshments in the sunroom at 5pm.
Large comfortable common rooms with gas fireplaces for reading a book from the inn’s library or playing a game of backgammon. There is a TV tucked away in the living room hutch.

Two cozy sun porches. One has a computer and printer for use as a mobile office, to check e-mails or browse the internet and the other is an inviting, intimate lounge space adjacent to the dining room. Both have river views.
*An ADA compliant handicapped/wheelchair accessible room (no.6 ) is located on the first floor.
If you’re staying for only one night, we request your lodging deposit in full at the time of the reservation being made. For two or more nights, we will need a 50% deposit of your stay.
A two-night minimum stay is required weekends, from June 1- October 15th, and during certain holidays.
Reservations made through third-party websites such as Booking.com, Expedia, HotelTonight, BedandBreakfast.com, and Airbnb will be charged a 100% deposit at the time of booking.
Cancellation of any portion of your reservation may be made 14 days prior to your check in date. Cancellations made fewer than 14 days prior to the check in date will be charged for the full amount of the reservation, unless the room is rebooked.
The Margin Street Inn has a limited number of rooms, which is ideal for the kind of personalized attention we like to give our guests – but it also limits the number of reservations we can accept. Our cancellation policy must take this into account, so we thank you for your understanding.
The Margin Street Inn does not take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies.
Cancellations must be made by phone, not via email.
If you made your reservation through a third-party website such as Booking.com, Expedia, HotelTonight, BedandBreakfast.com, or Airbnb, you are bound to the cancellation policies agreed to when booking on their website. The cancellation policies on their website may differ from our standard cancellation policies when booking directly with the Margin Street Inn. Any reservation made on a third-party website must be canceled through the third-party website.
CHECKING IN & OUT
Check-in is anytime between 3pm and 7pm. If you think you’ll be arriving later than 7pm, please contact us so we can make arrangements.
Check-out time is 11am. We will do our best to honor requests for early check-in and late check-out, depending on room availability. Both carry an extra charge. Otherwise, we are happy to store your baggage.
Payment is taken at time of check-in.
We take cash and credit cards as payment. No checks.
Homemade breakfast is included and delicious! Served daily from 8am-10am. Please let us know at least 72 hours in advance of your reservation of any dietary considerations. If you would like to bring someone to breakfast who is not a guest at the Inn, you’re welcome to. Please let us know 48 hours in advance, so we can set an extra place. There is a $25 additional charge per person. Please limit to 2 outside guests per breakfast. (We only serve breakfast, but we have listed many wonderful restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. For some suggestions, see Explore.)
WEDDINGS & PRIVATE EVENTS
Weddings or private events on the grounds require booking all the Inn rooms with a two-night minimum. Please call to inquire.
Due to the inn’s intimate size, we only take well behaved children 10 and older.
Children of a younger age are welcome if the entire Inn is booked for an event.
Losing or not returning keys will result in a $35 fee.
The entire property of the Margin Street Inn is smoke-free. If there is any sign of smoking or vaping in your room during your stay, a minimum of $250 additional-cleaning fee will automatically be charged to your account.
We love animals, but due to our rooms set up, we cannot accommodate pets. We are happy to refer you to a local boarder.
